Community Outreach
Empowering the community to care for animals
Since 2013, we have collaborated with communities throughout Mumbai to educate individuals on how to recognize signs of illness and injury, administer basic first aid, and advocate for street animals. We also supply them with regular monthly provisions of food for dogs and cats
Timely interventions save lives
We train communities to identify when to bring animals in for treatment so that minor issues can be addressed promptly. The goal is to ensure animals receive care before their illness or injury advances to a more severe stage. This minimizes unnecessary suffering and creates space in our hospitals for more critical cases that need continuous veterinary attention.
We also consistently implement sterilization and vaccination initiatives to ensure that neighborhoods are not inundated with a stray animal population, helping to prevent avoidable conflicts between people and animals
Animal welfare education
We collaborate with educational institutions to raise awareness among children about animal welfare. We educate them on how to help injured strays while promoting awareness of animal cruelty and how to be caring and compassionate pet owners
